Our second mPower Speaker Series will ne delivered by Bethany Cunningham, Mindfulness Educator.
In an effort to empower our youth, Bethany Cunningham has developed a "Mindfulness" curriculum in a local school. She also teaches mindful practice to adults.
In this months speaker series, Bethany will lead us in a discussion to give parents and care providers real tools to empower our children. Mindfulness is a skill that requires practice but can help our children (and ourselves!) to improve self-regulation, communication techniques and to identify their emotions, create solutions and resolve anxiety and conflict.
As part of our mission at mBrace Orthodontics it is our goal to offer the tools the community needs to support and empower our youth. During this speaker series we will invite a variety of experts to share their knowledge to empower the parents and leaders of our community. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to a scholarship fund aimed at supporting a local High School Student's future goals.
