The Way of the Mindful Improvisor: A Playful Path to Courage, Creativity and Connection
Like so many spiritual practices, mindfulness and improvisation help us slow down, get present, and connect authentically.

Woven into one cloth, mindfulness gains a playful, interactive expression and improv develops a well-grounded depth. Together, they cultivate the kind of charismatic, creative, connected presence that helps humans savor life's blessings and respond artfully to life's challenges.

This workshop will offer participants a glimpse into the power of these combined traditions. Together, well create a safe learning lab that uses experiential exercises to sharpen self-awareness and revitalize relationship with the outside world. Well train the muscles of playful attention, introduce the power of Yes, and, retrain our reactions to so-called failure, and learn to connect with ourselves and others more resourcefully. And well do all that while laughing a lot.

Prerequisites
Please note: This workshop is designed for those with little or no prior experience with improvisational theatre. You will not be asked to "perform" in front of the group. Those with more substantial improv chops who are just beginning to tap its deeper levels will also find it fruitful. While those with more significant mindfulness experience may find also find further insights, no meditation or mindfulness experience is necessary either.

25% of net proceeds for this event will go directly to the Shambhala Center. Refunds available until Feb 18th.
