New Beginnings: Providing Shelter, Empowerment, & Hope~ 2017
Family Crisis Services is excited to bring you our fourth annual gala event~ NEW BEGINNINGS: PROVIDING SHELTER, EMPOWERMENT, & HOPE!
The event will begin with an offering of hors d'oeuvres & cocktails, coupled with a silent auction. The silent auction will showcase many talented local and national artisans, sports memorabilia, photography, dining gift cards, art, and many more items!
As the evening continues, you will make your way into the main ballroom to experience dinner from Executive Chef Brian Anderson who came to The Westin Portland Harborview Hotel "Congress Squared" restaurant in May of 2015, most recently from the W Hotel in Boston. While enjoying dinner you will be joined by our amazing speaker who will share openly her story of domestic abuse survival and the happy, safe life that she is living today.
Our end of the evening event will be a live auction. You DO NOT want to miss this! Our live auction from last year showcased weekend get-a-ways, a hand made quilt, bicycle, art, & Lobster Bake on Dingley Island for eight. We already have some very exciting items to add to this year's live auction event ALL to benefit our numerous and much needed programs & help keep them thriving!
Again, this special event will be held at The Westin's Portland Harborview Hotel Grand Ballroom in Portland, Maine on May 11th from 6-9pm.
