Sneak Preview of Clinton, an American Experience film
On Wednesday, February 15, 7-9:30 PM, the National Museum of American History (NMAH), will present a one-hour preview of segments from the upcoming PBS film, "Clinton", the 16th episode in the AMERICAN EXPERIENCE presidential biography series. This AMERICAN EXPERIENCE documentary film, scheduled for national television broadcast on Presidents Day, follows President William Jefferson Clinton's rise from a broken childhood in Arkansas to become one of the most successful politicians in modern American history, and one of the most complex and conflicted characters to ever stride across the public stage. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion led by Marc Pachter, interim Director of the NMAH and include the film's director Barak Goodman; Don Baer, one of Clinton's senior advisors from 1994 to 1997; Harold Ickes, White House Deputy Chief of Staff from 1993 to 1996; and journalist John Harris, editor-in-chief of Politico.
Please arrive with your ticket by 6:55 PM to ensure your reservation is held.
