2016 St. John's Presentation of Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory"
Please join us for a Friday evening candle-lit performance or a Saturday afternoon matinee performance, of Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory."
In it's eighth year at St. John's this literary masterpiece comes to life as professional actors perform in a beautiful, Neo-Gothic church. "A Christmas Memory" is a tender Christmas story and classic memoir of Truman Capote's childhood in rural Alabama. It is set in the 1930's and recounts frank and fond memories of family relationships. The story appeals to adults and children ages 10 and up.
St. John's Holiday Boutique will also be open before and after the performance offering an assortment of baked goods, jams, jellies and crafts. Admission to the boutique is free.
This year we are featuring TWO performances; Friday evening, December 2 at 7pm and Saturday afternoon, December 3 at 2pm. Net proceeds from this event benefit Gilead House, a transitional housing facility for homeless women and children.
