Making Paper from Junk Mail
Join Bay Area artist Lessa Bouchard to learn how to make paper from your own recycled junk mail and natural materials. Spend the morning shredding your unwanted insurance and credit card offers and learn the diverse ways people make paper across the globe! We will head outside to collect materials from our preserve as ingredients for making our own paper to take home. All materials will be provided and final products will be shipped to participants after the class. Lessa has an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Media from Columbia College in Chicago. She is a Childrens Fine Art Instructor with the Palo Alto Art Center and artist-in-residence at the Cubberly Art Center.
