2016 AIAOC Holiday Gingerbread House Design Competition

Join AIAOC in celebrating the 2016 Gingerbread House Design Competition and help make a Merry Difference in the lives of children.

Submittal Guidelines:
Individuals or teams may enter. There are no restrictions on the various tasty treats you can use in your design, but the structure does need to meet these requirements:

Must be made and decorated entirely of edible food products and candy. No supports unless you can eat them! However using glue gun is acceptable (as long as the glue isn't visible).

Does it HAVE to be a house? Can't I do a commercial project? A plane? Trailer? AIA Headquarters?
Yes! Be as creative as you want!

Does it have to be one of those over the top, candied-out structures that gives you a sugar high just looking at them?
Not at all! It's your structure do what you want as long as it is edible!

Do I have to use Gingerbread?
No! Graham crackers, cereal, candy, pretzels, marshmallows, coconut, are a few things to consider. Oh and lots of frosting!

Registration needs to be completed no later than December 5th, and a description including size of your structure is required by December 13th so we can determine placement at Tangram (please email to jgill@aiaoc.org). Provided you haven't eaten your delectable house, you will bring it to the venue the day of the event.

Entry Fee- $20 per structure. PLUS each participant is requested to bring a toy the evening of the event to support Toys for Tots.

Winners will be announced the evening of December 15th! Bring your staff, co-workers, family and friends to make sure they don't miss out on the excitement!

12/15/16- Day of the event at Tangram Interiors, 1375 Dove Street, Suite 300, Newport Beach 92660

12:00 PM- Teams and individuals deliver their structures to Tangram

5:30pm 8pm Jolly, Jingle, Meet, and Mingle

6:30 pm- Award winners announced

Sweet treats and Fa La La libations served until 8:00 pm.
