The 2016 Kirkwood Winter Challenge is a sanctioned USA Weightlifting event. There are two separate competitions within this event:
1.) Total (Snatch and Clean & Jerk) - USA Weightlifting sanctioned competition.
2.) Clean & Jerk only (unsanctioned)
Events will run simultaneously. Awards will be given for both.
Location:
700 South Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. (Lindbergh Blvd. turns into Kirkwood Road just North of I-44). Enter venue on South side - basement entrance. If coming from 44, turn right on Rose Hill then left on Edgewood Ln. There is parking off of Rose Hill and Edgewood, as well as the school lot.
Divisions:
Youth Men (born 1999 or later) 44 kg, 50, 56, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 94+
Junior Men (born 1996-1998) 56 kg, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 105, 105+
Open (born 1995 or earlier) 56 kg, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 105, 105+
Youth Women (born 1999 or later) 39 kg, 44, 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, 69+
Junior Women (born 1996-1998) 48 kg, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75, 75+
Open Women (born 1995 or earlier) 48 kg, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75, 75+
FINAL Schedule:
Session A: All Youth & Junior Women. Weigh in 8:00-9:00 AM, Lift 10:00 AM
Session B: All Senior Women. Weigh in 8:00-9:00 AM, Lift 12:00 PM
Session C: All Youth & Junior Men. Weigh in 12:00-1:00 PM, Lift 2:00 PM
Session D: All Senior Men. Weigh in 12:00-1:00 PM, Lift 4:00 PM
CJ-only competition will weigh in at 8:00 AM and lift during sessions A & B.
Registration has ended.
All lifters in the Total competition must have a current USAW card or join online at the meet. NO EXCEPTIONS.
