Join Cirque Roots' 'SPECTRUM: A Theatrical Stilt Dance & Acrobatic Spectacle' at Zuzi Theater Saturday, December 10th at 7:30pm.

Let Cirque Roots inspire you with our all female cast! Inspired by the idea "We are the light we see in others." Spectrum is a heart-opening performance piece that aims to build and empower the community with a universal message of positivity and hope.

This 40 minute performance includes modern stilt dance, partner acrobatics, and original choreography. Created through experimental stilt work and theatrics, with influences of ritual dance, acro yoga, and improvisational dance techniques.

Accompanied by an original soundtrack by Tucson music producers Jyshua Pcalyps and Ian Browning. Plus, live harmonium and vocals from Vasanta Weiss (The Bennu & Savitur)!

After premiering this original stilt show at Cirque Roots' Studio in April 2016. The 5 cast members took their show on the road over the summer performing and teaching workshops in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. Now, after a reincarnation of the performance with new moves and reworked scenes the women of Spectrum are bringing back Spectrum for ONE last performance in Tucson on stage at Zuzi Theater, before taking the show back on the road in Spring 2017.
