Please join us for a 2-hour workshop introducing concepts that will be fully explored in our first full session of Building Strong Families Through the Arts!
WHAT? An introductory workshop for our Building Strong Families Through the Arts program
WHO? parents and children ages 10+
WHEN? WHERE? Tuesday, October 25, 11:00am-1:00pm, University Heights Center 5031 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105
WHY? To learn concepts that will be fully explored in our first full class session - creating healthy expectations and boundaries within family units. You'll have a chance to meet the instructors, experience a unique combination of activities that incorporate theater, movement and mindfulness, and get some new tools to improve communication and empathy in your own family.
Why the arts? The arts are an incredibly effective medium for developing self-awareness, creating strategies for growth, and exploring and empowering our boundaries, relationships and patterns. Join two Seattle area arts instructors, Laura Shepherd and Jesica Avellone, who have a combined 25+ years of teaching music, drama, teambuilding and integrated arts for a life-changing series to build a stronger family from the inside out.
I don't homeschool, so how can I take your awesome class? Sign up for our e-newsletter and send us an email to make sure we know about you! We'd like to develop programs for working families in the future.
