Fiesta on the Farm

Slow Food North Louisiana and Mahaffey Farms host the 4th annual farm dinner fundraiser supporting the programs of Slow Food North Louisiana on Sunday, October 23, 2016. What is normally a FETE on the farm, will this year be a FIESTA on the farm as Ki' Mexico will bring their talents and taste influences as the featured chefs. Local foods will be showcased using traditional Mexican cooking methods.

We will eat family style on the farmhouse lawn, with live music to entertain. Wine will be selected by Wine Country Bistro with Great Raft Brewing our official beer sponsor.

Doors open at 4:30 pm, with some time for farm touring. We will sit for dinner at approximately 6 pm.

General Admission $80

Slow Food Members $68 (Current members will receive a password via email on file; if you joined in September, please send an email to slowfoodnla@gmail.com to ensure we have your email)

Mahaffey Farms is located about 20 minutes from central Shreveport, 5 miles past Louisiana Downs on Hwy 80. While we will have room for parking, we encourage shared rides.
