R WORKSHOP - First Steps
The Lacawac Sanctuary and Biological Field Station is pleased to announce an R Workshop for beginners on November 5, 2016.
Dr. Jeffrey Stratford, Associate Professor of Biology at Wilkes University, will lead a full-day R workshop covering: -Getting data into and out of R -Graphing -Data manipulation and descriptive statistics -Basic statistics: t-tests, ANOVA, regressions -Stats Jam Come ready to ask questions about your data so you can get advice on approaches in R -One hour "nature break" to paddle on Lake Lacawac or take a short hike
Space is limited, so early registration is suggested!
Registration is $90, and includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Lodging is available for an additional $30/night on both Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.
