Art For Avenues: A Concert

On any night in Minnesota more than 4000 youth are homeless and on their own

Avenues for Homeless Youth provides emergency shelter, short-term housing and supportive services for homeless youth in a safe and nurturing environment. Through such services, Avenues seeks to help youth achieve their personal goals and make a positive transition into adulthood.

As a community lets gather and celebrate the hard work youth and staff have done to perservere through one of life's toughest obstacles; youth homelessness. simultaneously contributing to the continuation of programs via profit made at this fundraiser.

Venue, Artists, and more have kindly donated their time, space, and talent to help ensure this Avenues fundraiser a success.

LINEUP:
Eric Tu: is a graduate from the University of Minnesota, where he majored in English literature and minored in Dutch and Asian American Studies. He lives in Midtown Minneapolis and hosts the Kumo XL Poet Tree on tumblr.

Blue Ruin: Garage rockers Blue Ruin will be opening up the night with a bang. Get your dancin shoes on kids!

Idle Empress: Eau Claire folk-rock trio Idle Empress are trekin out to the cities to let their insta-classic jams be heard.

cully: Settle in, open your heart, and get ready for some serious feelz.

INFINITIES: Minneapolis rockers INFINITES will be treating us to a rousing set. Jamz will be provided in spades.

@mycdazzle: Woke as all hell artist and rapper Mychal Batson will be laying down some seriously necessary work for us. Get ready to move.
