A voguing ball or ball culture is an underground LGBTQ subculture in which people "walk" or "compete" for trophies and prizes at events known as Balls. Those who walk, often dance or vogue, while others compete in various genres of drag, often trying to pass as a specific gender or social class.

Categories will be Open to All (OTA), everyone and anyone can compete and walk in any of the categories.
The categories are:
1. BIZARRE: HIGH FASHION RECYCLABLES
Participants will be judged on their creativity to design a costume. For this category, we are looking for High Fashion looks made from recyclable materials. Be ready to walk down the runway with your ready to wear looks that are good enough to be on the fashion runways of Paris and Milan!
2. RUNWAY: PRINCE VS. BOWIE
Participants will be judged on your catwalk. For this category, we are looking for you to strut down the runway with your best Naomi Campbell walk. To compete, participants must also come wearing an outfit inspired by either Prince or David Bowie.
3. SCHOOLBOY/SCHOOL GIRL REALNESS
Participants will be judged on their ability to blend.
Get out your backpacks, textbooks, pencils, and TI-83 calculators! Time to show up in your best school attire!
4. PERFORMANCE
VOGUE, VOGUE, VOGUE...make sure you come ready with the five elements of vogue: catwalk, duckwalk, floorwork, hands, spins and dips.
