Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra Summer Concert Opera
The Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra presents Donizetti's The Elixir of Love: a concert version in Italian with English supertitles. The concert will be conducted by SCCO music director Timothy Semanik and will feature Alison Wahl (Adina), Jay Morrissey (Nemorino), Keven Keys (Dulcamara), Zachary Angus (Belcore) and Cari Plachy (Giannetta).
The Elixir of Love is the SCCOs third summer concert opera, following the successes of The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute. Once again this summer, the SCCO will be joined by some of the most talented singers in the Chicago area. It is certainly a concert not to be missed!
