Eden Prairie Players Collection of One Acts
The Eden Prairie Players Collection of One Acts is now in its twelfth year! An annual favorite among theatergoers in Eden Prairie and the neighboring communities, the Collection brings a variety of short plays, comedies and dramas, from established and new playwrights, to Riley-Jacques Barn in beautiful Riley Lake Park.
While we usually present a mix of established and unpublished plays, this year we are presenting a line-up of seven new, unpublished plays. We have been including unpublished work in the mix for several years now, and we're thrilled to be able to showcase fresh playwriting talent in this way. We chose these seven plays from a field of 250 submissions, reviewed by a group of dedicated volunteers. We take the top twenty or so plays from that process and do a day-long, live table reading to get a better feel for what they are like when performed, and make our final choices from that set. We're really excited about this year's selections!
Last year we introduced a premium seating option, which was very popular and which we are continuing. (See pricing for details)
Light refreshments are served 1/2 hour before the show starts and during intermission.
We cannot serve alcohol, but YOU are allowed to bring your own beer or wine beverages to enjoy during the production.
Order early as limited seating is available and we're expecting this show to be completely sold out!
We do not offer refunds for unused tickets.
