Intro to Local Plant Medicine: Wetlands
Our local wetlands have a unique set of plants in addition to some classes, like alder and salmonberry. During this three hour intensive class, we will learn about the basic uses of the plants we encounter, how and when to harvest, and how to apply them. Some of the plants we will discuss are: Willow, alder, skunk cabbage, blueberry, black cottonwood and birch. This is a hands on workshop that will involve smelling, tasting, cutting, harvesting and walking.
On the same day as this class, Ill be teaching Basic Plant ID: Wetlands in the morning, which can be taken with this class. Feel free to sign up for both!
