A Mad Tea-Cocktail Party and Artist Salon
On May 24, 2016, at 7pm, Vagabond Inventions will host a Mad Tea-Cocktail Party and Artist Salon. Members of the public and patrons of the arts are cordially invited to join us at The Tigermen Den (3113 Royal St. in the Bywater) to raise production funds for the creation of "A Kingdom, A Chasm" to premiere fall 2016.
"A Kingdom, A Chasm" is a devised physical theater work in which three strangers-turned-companions sustain a tiny Mad-Tea-Party-esque society together in a war zones wilderness.
Harkening back to the salons of Victorian-Era Europe, The Mad-Tea- Cocktail party will feature sophisticated tea concoctions, highly civilized games, and a plethora of fantastical performances and pleasurable discourse with, David Chervony, David Llorca, Chris Lane, Jenny Sargent...
And an encore performance of the sold-out Faux/ Real Festival highlight I Like It performed by Anais Adair, Owen Ever, and Phoebe C Vlassis.
