The Pastie Project

Do you have a pair of pasties you love? A pair you made, a pair you use in your favorite act, a pair gifted to you by a Legend or found in a vintage shop?

We want to see them! And take a photo for inclusion in an upcoming publication, The Pastie Project, designed to support the preservation of burlesque costume history, by Rosey La Rouge (photography by Ben Trivett).

Open to all attendees, vendors and performersincluding Legends! we invite you to share with us your favorite pair!

PLUS: Did you donate to The Big Reveal at the $150 or above level and plan to provide a pair of pasties for The Wall of Pasties? Bring them in and GIVE THEM TO A BHoF MUSEUM STAFFER! Well be onsite and ready to take your pasties, well have you fill out a quick form, and the next time you see them, theyll be up on the wall at our NEW LOCATION!

We may not be able to photograph and include them all, but were eager to see as many as you can share!

About Our Documentarian
Rosey La Rouge is an NYC-based performer, and has been on the scene for nearly a decade, performing from coast to coast. She is a costume designer and makeup artist with a Masters in Costume Design from Boston University. She began The Pastie Project to showcase and record this iconic part of burlesque costume history. Photographer Ben Trivett will be on hand to capture images of the pastiesand if youll be onstage at the Weekender and the pasties are in your showcase performance, of the pasties in action, too! A portion of the proceeds from the projects publication will be donated to The Burlesque Hall of Fame.
