The Urban Garden Dinner Hosted by Sidney Street Cafe & Rooster and the Hen
Join Chef Kevin Nashan of Sidney Street Cafe and Chef Michael Gallina of Rooster and the Hen for an intimate dinner in Sidney Street Cafe's urban garden. The chefs will prepare a multi-course, family style dinner highlighting the garden's fresh ingredients.

About Kevin Nashan: Kevin Nashan (2016 James Beard Award finalist for Best Chef: Midwest and five-time semifinalist) is the chef/owner of the acclaimed Sidney Street Cafe in St. Louis, where he crafts dishes with a myriad of influences including Spanish, New Mexican, Midwestern, Southern and French cuisines. Nashan believes that sourcing locally should be expected, not celebrated, and converted the restaurants parking lot into 100 yards of urban garden. In August 2014, he opened The Peacemaker, inspired by the lobster and crab shacks and Acadian coastal cuisines of the Northeast and Louisiana. The menu includes lobster rolls, seafood boils, poboys and more.
About Rooster and the Hen/Tara and Michael Gallina: Working together at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, the couple helped the restaurant achieve accolades from all over the world, receiving awards such as Outstanding Restaurant in America from the James Beard Foundation, and a ranking on the San Pellegrino Top 50 Restaurants in the World list. But their greatest achievement of all was discovering their desire to work together as a team and shared love for nourishing those around them with delicious food. They look forward to becoming a part of a new community in St. Louis, setting down roots and continuing the conversation of thoughtful eating.
