Matt Flinner Trio with Ron Miles
The Matt Flinner Trio will be welcoming special guest trumpeter and composer Ron MIles as part of their continuing "Music du Jour" project. Each member of the trio (Matt Flinner, mandolin; Ross Martin, guitar and Eric Thorin, bass) will write a new composition the day of the show for trumpet, mandolin, guitar and bass, and all three pieces will be played as part of that night's concert. The group will also play several of Ron Miles' pieces and a standard or two.
