Keith Paesel
Hailing from Sauk Village, Illinois, Keith got his first taste of performing jokes for the masses when he was 17, and then returned to the scene 6 years later in 2010. His return began at the Edge Comedy Club housed in the (now dark) Chicago Center for the Performing Arts. It was there where he met and became friends with those who would eventually become his partners in his future showcase, Stand Up Stand Up. Which has since gone on to become one of the best weekly places to see comedy in Chicago.
More lover than fighter, Keiths act is extremely personal and real, ranging from the hilarities of trailer park living to learning important life lessons from crackheads to being a human hot dog. Hes brutally honest about both the world and himself, and is extremely relatable no matter what your background.
David Rader
David Rader began performing while an undergrad at Illinois State University, featuring at the now-defunct Laugh Comedy Club in Bloomington, IL. Rader featured for national comedians such as Dave Landau and Stewart Huff before moving to Chicago. He was a producer of Kick Punch Stand Up, one of Chicago's greatest weekly alt showcases, before the shop kicked them out in favor of a Magic: The Gathering game night. Rader now performs all around the Midwest. He has never gotten comfortable with writing about himself in the third person.
Timmy Whitzell
Chicago-based comedian Timmy Whitzell, originally from Maine, legit just likes to make people laugh.
His nearly 10 years in comedy has brought him from his first time on stage at a comedy contest in his home town which he did not win, to becoming one of the more recognizable comedians and show producers in Chicago.
2013 is when he really hit his stride on the scene leading him to finally recording his first album in 2014 under his previous name. Timmy Brochu's "Xanadu" is available on Spotify and Itunes.
Timmy's comedy crosses the line in the sand between absurd one-liners, to honest stories from his childhood, comedy career, and married life. That's right, nothing is off limits in his comedy! He'll talk about puppies, breakfast food, bills, or even TELEVISION SHOWS. He does not care.
Timmy is now co-owner of The WIP Theater in the Edison park neighborhood of Chicago, and the producer of Black Box Comedy every Friday and Saturday night at 10pm at the theater, where the love for and pride in stand up comedy is palpable. Kevin Kellam
Kevin Kellam is a loud loveable man child who combined his love of comedy and radio into something that his parents refuse to call a 'career'. Kellam who cut his teeth on 'Iowa's Pure Rock' Rock 108, can be heard currently one of the country's biggest alternative rock stations, 101WKQX in Chicago. He has been the opening act for acclaimed rock acts like Papa Roach, Soundgarden, Bastille, and more for nationally syndicated TV show, JBTV. Follow him on Twitter: @kevkellam
