This year, NegusWorld is partnering with MAMA HOPE, a San Francisco-based nonprofit that trains impact entrepreneurs around the world, and the recipient organization of the NWWP 2016 fundraiser is a school based in Mlali, Tanzania called "Queen Elizabeth Academy" (QEA).

The NegusWorld Wide Party is looking to help QEA achieve self-sustainability and equal access to education through building of a boarding house which will provide independent income: the house will welcome middle-class students from all over Tanzania for a small fee that will subsidize the education and meals of local students who would not otherwise have the means to attend.

MAIN EVENT IN OAKLAND: Co-hosted by NegusWorld co-founder Johwell St-Cilien and KBLX radio host Sterling James, will take place at the Starline Social Club, located at 645 West Grand Street in Oakland, California from 9pm until 2am.

The party is co-sponsored by the DESMOND TUTU PEACE FOUNDATION and will feature and introduction of the NegusWorld Youth performance by Desmond Tutu's grandson, Xabiso Tutu-Gxashe.

Music by Brooklyn resident DJ Still1, flying from NYC for the occasion! Stay tuned as we will announce the line up of performances by local artists.

Ever since its conception, NegusWorld has strived to connect people around the world and encourage them to recognize their individual value, while coming together as one community to celebrate their differences: "We feel that this year more than ever there is a need to celebrate as one and we encourage EVERYONE to join in the celebration on June 4th: this is a private party for royalty only, which means everyone is invited!"
