Miss Tosh - The Beauty of Burlesque Workshop
STRIPPED DOWN BEAUTY WORKSHOP - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Join Miss Tosh for a stripped down demonstration of beauty rituals for on and off stage. Students will learn vintage hair styling and beauty techniques for the modern starlet. You will be able to get up close and personal as Miss Tosh demonstrates different vintage hairstyles, setting techniques, and proper comb out methods on models with diverse hair textures. During the burlesque beauty workshop you will learn do it your self tips and tricks for creating your own glamorous burlesque look from bare to bombshell. Students will leave with the skills to create beautiful styles for every day glamour. You do not need to be a professional hair stylist or makeup artist to take the course. All genders and skill levels are welcome! This Course requires a notebook, writing implement, and camera.
BOMBSHELL BURLESQUE DANCE WORKSHOP - 8pm - 9:30pm
For the first time you can learn from the starlet herself about how to define your signature burlesque style. During the burlesque workshop students will be taught sensual choreography emphasizing stage presence as well as learning how to develop their own signature burlesque style. Miss Tosh will teach students techniques on how to conceal and reveal, along with mastering the burlesque strut, and pinup posture. Students will connect with their inner Glamazon, feeling more confident and radiant than ever. Please wear clothing that is appropriate for a dance class. No clothing that restricts your movement. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable high heels but are not required. All genders and skill levels are welcome!
