Resin Mosaic Workshop

Learn from resin artist Shelly Jackson to make a resin mosaic. Class will cover the chemistry of two-part pour resin, working with molds, layering and working from the front back, and introducing pigments to resin.

This is a two part class. Part one will be working with clear resin and placing items in your mosaic and learning to fire for bubbles. Part two will be experimenting with pigments, chemistry, and revisiting firing. Note class times are two evenings 6 - 7:15 PM.

This class is approachable for beginner and intermediate makers. Whether you have worked a little with the medium before or never touched it, you will have fun and can learn from this workshop.

Wear clothing that you would paint in, as resin can damage fibers. Tie back long hair.

After curing time of an additional two days, you get to take home your own art, your choice of a coaster, desk stand, window or wall hanging.

For an additional charge you may take home a kit to start making resin art of your own.
