Supporting Our LGBTQ+ Youth: A Forum of Education and Discussion
Please join The Bridge for Youth, St. Paul Public Schools and the St. Paul Public Schools Gender and Sexual Diversity Parent Advisory Council (GSDPAC), for a fun filled day of learning and supporting our LGBTQ+ youth!
The focus of this event is supporting LGBTQ+ youth aged 2 to 24 years old.
Attend breakout sessions, listen to speakers, learn about valuable community resources, connect with other parents, guardians, caregivers, teachers and professionals who support LGBTQ+ youth.
Breakout sessions will include topic such as:
*Gender/Sexuality/Gender Expression 101
*Advocating for your child within the school setting
*Bridging relationships with your child/extended family
Lunch and Entertainment Provided! This event is free, but donations to support future programming and community supports are appreciated.
**Child Care provided - please contact Out for Equity at outforequity@spps.org with the number of and ages of children needing child care by April 28th.
