Ralph Rehbock: Words from a Survivor
Sharing his story to prevent genocide from happening again
Ralph Rehbock is a Holocaust survivor and board member of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. He will share the story of his family leaving the small town of Gotha Germany in 1938. His hope in sharing this story is to inspire younger generations to take a stand.
Mr. Rehbock starts his discussion in 1918 talking about the things that allowed the Holocaust to happen over a number of years, and emphasizes the power that every individual has to step up and make a difference in the face of adversity.
