Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover the joy of looking at and loving art.
Why Slow?
When people look slowly at a piece of art they make discoveries. The most important discovery they make is that they can see and experience art without an expert (or expertise). And that's an exciting discovery. It unlocks passion and creativity and helps to create more art fans.
Join the Brown County Art Guild for our 2nd Annual Slow Art Day and discover your passion for art! This year, participants will meet at the Guild at noon to examine five paintings from our Magnum Opus Exhibit and then proceed to the Nashville Pavilion for a picnic lunch while some of our award-winning Guild artist members demonstrate Plein Air painting.
