Joel Salatin Workshop
Joel Salatin and Caleb Curlin (Jackson native and former Polyface Farm Manager) will conduct a hands on workshop at Marmilu Farms in Jackson, TN on the benefits of a biodynamic, multi-species, perennial based pastured livestock operation. In particular, Joel will explain his methods on intensive mob grazing with cattle, and how vertically integrating multiple livestock species on a farm is not only profitable, but helps heal the land in a way nothing else can.
Some of the topics Joel and Caleb will discuss include-
-Salad Bar Beef -Pastured Poultry -Pasture sanitation and premium pastured egg production -Pastured Pork production -Added benefits of small ruminants
And most importantly, a time for Q&A- If you learn best from seeing things in person and would like to see first hand how Joel Salatin explains all the different aspects of what he does and why, this workshop is for you! Workshop starts at 8:00am and ends at 11:00am Please dress according to the weather. Coats, rain gear and boots are highly recommended.
