THIS FREE COOKIE BAKING WORKSHOP is for you if you want to proudly exclaim "I baked these myself" and have everyone sing your praises! Whether you bake good cookies (but not great) or are completely clueless in the kitchen, this FREE workshop is for you! Baking the perfect cookie is much more than just following a recipe. We'll take you through each ingredient, step-by-step, and show you techniques that guarantee success one delicious bite at a time. You'll pick up these valuable baking skills, tips and tricks that are never printed on the recipe:

O Creaming" butter and sugar
O The proper way to measure flour
O How to tell if eggs are fresh
O What makes a cookie "tender"
O Why allow the dough to "rest"?
O Proper temperature of butter
O Butter vs. margarine, which one and why?
O The best cookie flour (from a field of many)
O Why some cookies are dry and tough
O And many more secrets!

Bring a friend, a date, a spouse or a loved one. You'll have fun as you pick up a new skill that will last a lifetime! Class open to ages 12 and up. Class size kept small to assure all your questions are answered and you get personalized attention. Each workshop is 1-1/2 hours long. Three different sessions are available: one at 9am, one at noon, and one at 6pm, all on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Select the time that works best for you.

TAUGHT by award-winning baker and instructor CINDY CARPENTER. Cindy has been cooking and baking since the age of 9, when she was put in charge of making all the food for her large family of 7. By the time she was a teenager, she excelled in the kitchen. Now, with over 30 years experience cooking and baking non-stop, she is ready to share her secrets, tips and tricks to help you become a master cookie baker! She is also an award winning international speaker, and has a fun, informative and high energy style of teaching. You'll laugh as you learn!
