5K Our Way to Puerto Rico!

5K Our Way to Puerto Rico is a fundraising event for Sanford High School students attending a field trip to Puerto Rico in June 2017. The event will be a 5K run or walk around the Sanford High School grounds and the Mousam Way Trails, in Sanford, Maine.

Our goal is to help students raise as much of the funds for their trip as possible, while supporting the health and fitness of the community and beyond. It is 1,732 miles from Sanford to San Juan, PR and we hope to get close to that mileage from all of our runners and walkers! Participants will be able to experience a fun morning run with Latin music and festivities, as well as our students cheering you on throughout the course!

The first 50 participants will receive a contest-winning student designed t-shirt included in their entry fee, as well as prizes for the winners of each age category. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
