TAProject is the resident tap company of Impulse Dance Center in Natick, MA. Currently in its 13th season, the TAProject is a performing ensemble that creates, understands and perform complex tap rhythms. Their goal is to share the language of tap and relate it to everyday sounds that then become its own music.
Ryan P. Casey is a "whimsically inventive" (The Boston Globe) dancer, teacher, choreographer, and dance writer who was named in 2015 as one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch" and one of Boston's "25 Most Innovative People Under 25." He has danced for Michelle Dorrance, Aaron Tolson, Billy Siegenfeld, and Adrienne Hawkins. As an educator, he has worked for colleges, festivals, studios, and arts programs throughout the country, including: Hofstra, Brown, American College Dance Festival, Beantown Tapfest, Tap United, Calgary's Tri-Tone Youth Rhythm Ensemble, and Candy Apples Dance Center. A frequent contributor to Dance Studio Life Magazine, Ryan is also a proud Capezio Athlete. Currently on faculty at Boston University and choreographing for the University of Connecticut Tap Team, Ryan is a proud alumnus of New York University's Gallatin School, The School at Jacob's Pillow, and the National YoungArts Foundation.

Connecting Point Dance Company is one of the performance companies if the Impulse Dance Center in Natick. CPDC is a repertory leveled dance company that engages and performs in but not limited to the styles of lyrical, modern, jazz, and contemporary. Our mission is to bring the at of dance to the community through performance to share dance as a common language. We want audiences to know that dance can be more than entertainment; it's also a way to communicate. Additionally, the company is fashioned and built to be role models for all young dancers within the Impulse Dance Center as well as the Natick community.
RICARDO FOSTER, JR. Born and raised in Boston, Ricardo has been involved with the entertainment industry for over 10 years. Using his special talents as a dancer, choreographer, performer, actor, comedian, and model, he has single-handedly made a name for himself amongst many of today's popular artists. Working and performing with artists ranging from Jay-Z, Usher, Britney Spears, NSYNC, En-vogue, Uncle Cracker, and Beyonce to old school classics like Naughty by Nature, Wu-Tang clan, and RUN DMC, he has seen it all. Recently he has been focusing his talents on ventures behind the scenes, choreographing for various artists, guest choreographing for major dance companies and crews and producing onstage performances through his production company Unyted Stylz Entertainment. He has also fashioned Unyted Stylz to be an entertainment umbrella housing performers, teachers, and dance groups of different disciplines, styles, and backgrounds to help enrich and broaden the dance community. Ricardo is also proudly one of the main choreographers and developers for the Xbox Kinect video game franchise "Dance Central". Due to his involvement with these projects and his works showcased on different platforms of entertainment Ricardo has been recently dubbed a world renowned choreographer. All while being a devoted teacher at Dean College for both Jazz and Hip-Hop, as well as constantly doing workshops, master classes, and lectures on the performing arts as a whole.
With an outstanding personality, he has a way with audiences, students, and his peers alike. By using comedy, simple physical analogies, and a story-like premise behind all of his dance movements, he looks to have people understand and enjoy his performances, choreography, and classes. All while trying to help people find a new appreciation and love of dance and themselves. Known as a master teacher, an exceptional performer, and an international choreographer Ricardo strives to live up to the standard of "..not necessarily being the best, just everyone's personal favorite." We welcome Ricardo to the Impulse faculty where he will teach Jazz, Lyrical and take over as Artistic Director for The Connecting Point Dance Company.

Extreme Crew

Extreme Crew is a hip hop performance troupe based out of Impulse Dance Center in Natick, which includes a multigenerational group of dancers who train in hip hop, breakdance, popping, locking, and other urban dance styles. They perform in local community events and also compete in battles throughout the Boston area. This year the crew attended the reputable "Monsters of Hip Hop Dance Convention" for the first time. The crew is excited to perform at this event and is passionate about sharing hip hop culture with the community. Walk-In classes are available on Sundays. Natalie Miccile holds a doctorate in pharmacy and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Connecticut. She is an Impulse Dance Center alumna and has been dancing for over twenty years. She trained with the reputable hip hop performance crew Phunk Phenomenon and breakdance crew Lords of Illusion out of Boston, MA for five years. Natalie loves taking classes in NYC and LA California and battling in the Boston area. In her free time she likes going to concerts.

Unyted Teknēkz is a dance company that focuses on the classic styles of dance with a contemporary feel. The company's mission is to bring the classic techniques of dance together, to showcase the strength, power, and emotions of the techniques by creating affordable productions and workshops, and to bring the art communities together through movement.
Ryan P. Casey & Dancers (founded in 2012) is an innovative, contemporary tap ensemble dedicated to creating engaging, inventive, rhythm-based work. Under the artistic direction of award-winning performer and choreographer Ryan P. Casey, the company infuses their original choreography with humor, poetry, characters, and more to create exciting, family-friendly performances. The ensemble, including special guest Kelly Kaleta ("Imagine Tap!"), has performed with the Inside/Out series at Jacob's Pillow, Symphony Space, Massachusetts Dance Festival, Southern Vermont Dance Festival, The Dance Complex, Providence Performing Arts Center, and numerous other venues. Their new show, "Unbound," will debut and tour this fall. Joining Ryan for this performance is Nicole Chaput.
Kelvin Sanchez is a breakdancer ("bboy") from Lynn, MA. He has been training as a bboy since thirteen years old and has developed incredible skill. He belongs to the reputable Boston breakdance crew, Lords of Illusions (L.O.I), with whom he battles and performs with around the Boston area. Kelvin has performed withPhunk Phenomenon during the Boston Celtics games and has enjoyed the opportunity to judge as well as compete in numerous battles in both Boston and NYC with his crewL.O.I. Grateful for his talent and success. Kelvin graciously shares his expertise with Impulse Dance Center.
