Join Cabrini Green Legal Aid at the Goodman Theatre on February 16, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. for a performance of Another Word for Beauty, a stirring music-filled play about a beauty pageant in a women's prison.
While Another Word for Beauty takes place in a fictional women's prison in Colombia, the CLAIM Program at CGLA works with real women in prison in Illinois. Join us for a reception before the show to discuss the reality of women's prisons and the work that the CLAIM program does. We will go over some of our accomplishments during the past year. We will be joined by CGLA staff, Visible Voices members, and artists from the show to discuss their creative process, too.
