Big Bang Kitchens Craft Brew Dinner at the Boro
In celebration of NYC Beer Week 2016, Chef George Mandakas, Owner of Big Bang Kitchens and Executive Chef at the Boro Hotel, along with the "Brew Chef" himself, Chef Tim Schafer of Tim Schafer's Catering out of Charlotte, NC will host a locally inspired Pop-Up Craft Beer Dinner highlighting the best neighborhood breweries in the LIC area. This 6-course dinner will be presented in the stunning penthouse event venue at the newly opened Boro Hotel in Long Island City, offering unparalleled views of the iconic NYC skyline. Every course will be crafted around the character and flavor profile of a particular style of beer and be paired with the perfect pour, hand selected by the Chefs, that showcases each Brew Masters creation.
Best of all, a portion of the proceeds from this "locally inspired" dinner will stay local and be donated in support of the important work being done at the Borden Avenue Homeless Veterans Residence here in Long Island City.
