Alternating shows, The Heritage Ensemble Theatre Company is performing two powerful pieces, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf by Ntozake Shange & For Black Boys Who Have Considered Homicide When the Streets Were Too Much by Keith Antar Mason. Shange's piece is a choreopoem that weaves through the different lives of women as the tell stories of love, empowerment, struggle and loss into a complex representation of sisterhood. Mason's piece was the men's response to Shange's Work.
