A short morning conference featuring speakers and panelists  co-sponsored by Avenues: the World School and the GO Project, with the participation of Hudson Guild and Families for Excellent Schools


Introductions:

Bonnie St. John, Former White House Director of the National Economic Council. Co-author of "How Great Women Lead", a book about overcoming adversity.

Featured Speakers:
* Tom Allon: Founder of Frank McCourt High School and candidate for NYC mayor
*Emily Ong, NYU Graduate Student and Senior Community Engagement Coordinator of the GO Project, and Sam Maldonado, Student at High School for Art and Design;GO Project Alumnus (interactive)
* Hyisheem Calier, graduate student in social work, Hudson Guild scholarship recipient, grew up in Chelsea-Elliott houses, participant in ground-breaking HBO film, "Class Divide"
