The PedsCount! Summit brings together hundreds of practitioners and community advocates representing walking, safety, design, public health, planning, education, equity, transit and sustainable transportation to explore innovations, share best practices and cutting-edge research, and prioritize actions to get more people safely walking every day.

Hotel Accommodations We've secured a group rate for Summit attendees at the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Downtown (500 East First Street Long Beach, CA 90802) for $150.00/night (plus tax) for single or double rooms. Additionally, there will be a limited number of rooms available at the state government rate of $120.00/night (plus tax); reservations under this rate will require a valid government ID at the time of check in. All registration cancellation requests must be received in writing by e-mail to PedsCount. Refunds will be made for cancellations received by May 1, 2016 and are subject to a $25 processing fee. Refund requests after that date will not be honored, and the participant or sponsoring organization will be responsible for that registration fee. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute. The name of the substitute, along with complete contact information, must be provided in advance of the conference dates to PedsCount.
