Snuglife: A Communications and Cuddling Playshop
In this workshop you will:
- connect through conversation and cuddling - find healthy ways to ask for what you want - learn to say Yes or No with clarity and kindness - cultivate a touch-positive lifestyle in a supportive setting - experience nurturing touch and emotional intimacy in a non-sexual setting.
Touch is a basic human need. Without it, newborn infants die. And yet, in our culture, many of us are touch-deprived.
Snuglife is dedicated to re-claiming our right to share touch in a friendly, playful, non-sexual atmosphere. We welcome all ages and orientations to come and learn how to communicate clearly in order to give and receive the benefits of nurturing touch in a supportive environment.
This is a gender balanced event. If there is a wait list for your gender, please register and a ticket will be released to you as the other gender signs up to balance it out. Thank you for your patience with this! Feel free to message me to find out what the current odds are as you plan your life.
This is a safe and sober event. Please wear comfy clothes or pajamas. You may change at the venue if you prefer. NO night-gowns, sexy attire, or lingerie.
You are welcome to bring extra snug-gear such as pillows or blankets to share. Snacks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages or food to share.
GUIDELINES
* Clothes stay on the whole time. * You don't have to touch anyone (you get to decide what you want and don't want)* * Ask permission before touching or hugging anyone. Wait for a verbal "yes" before you do. * If you feel like a "maybe" to someone's request, consider just saying "no." (It's good practice to pay attention to what you really want. It's really the whole point!) * You are encouraged to change your mind. * Respect people's privacy when sharing about the event
