We are pleased to announce our theatrical production of "Mirror Woman, The Battle Unseen" featured at The Black Rock Center For The Arts.
Mirror Woman is a play which speaks to the heart of every woman. We all know what it's like to look in the mirror and practically hear it mocking you..."You're too fat, you're not pretty enough." What would it be like if you could break free from your mirror?"
Sally's struggle with self-esteem comes to a head when her mirror comes to life and offers her a way to have the desires of her heart. Sally becomes mesmerized and captivated by the power of the silvery woman in the mirror. So begins an amazing journey through the battlefield of good and evil. Will Sally be the next victim of the Mirror Woman? Will she abandon her Christian beliefs for the promise of beauty and power? What will it cost her her life or maybe even her soul?
In a world that devalues the natural beauty of women and celebrates unrealistic, hyper-sexualized body images, this soulful masterpiece, Mirror Woman, The Battle Unseen, challenges the media's concept of beauty as it champions for all women. The play takes on many of the critical issues faced daily by women of all ages such as low self-esteem, body image, love and faith.
