HOSTED BY BRIDGING ACCESS TO CARE, INC. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RAYMOUR & FLANIGAN
In recognition of World AIDS Day 2015 and #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving back, Bridging Access to Care (BAC), a multi-service nonprofit health agency based in Brooklyn, has partnered with furniture and mattress leader Raymour & Flanigan to host "Saving Our Homes, Saving Our Lives", a charity awards benefit to raise awareness of the plight of low-income and formerly homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS in New York City. The funds raised during the event helps to secure necessary funding essentials to maintain the housing support services so desperately needed for individuals who are either HIV-positive, living with AIDS and facing homelessness, as well as properly furnish the homes for those individuals, including food and pantry items. Saving Our Homes, Saving Our Lives (#SavingOurLives) will be held at the Raymour & Flanigan showroom in Downtown Brooklyn.
