My Big Heart: On
"It's one part When Harry Met Sally, two parts High Fidelity, and a dash of whimsy," says Duncan.  "MY BIG HEART: ON is a coming of age story that takes on ageless yet millennial-centric topics; following a 20-something New Yorker through the rejection of being a nice guy to the confidence of being a good guy."

Following a successful 6 month Off-Broadway run, Brandon Duncan will premiere MY BIG HEART: ON  at The Prince Theatre (The Producers' Club 358 W. 44th st.) for a limited eight show run November 12th thru November 15th.
Run time: 70 minutes. MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY.

When asked where he got the idea for the show, Duncan said, "The show is a love story, but not in the way you would think. I was in a long empty-bed phase of life and I kept blaming other factors. Once I realized that it was me who needed to make the change, a lot of doors started opening."

MY BIG HEART: ON is written and performed by Brandon Duncan (Off-Broadway: RAPUNZARELLA WHITE, Regional: FOREVER PLAID; SPAMALOT).
The creative team includes Jill Carucci (Director) and Chet Craft (Stage Manager).

Praise for Brandon Duncan:
"a hilarious Mr. Duncan in drag...resembles Phyllis Diller more than she does a Disney queen." Laurel Graeber, The New York Times, on Rapunzarella White.

"But by far the most gifted actor (in Olney's FOREVER PLAID) is Brandon Duncan, whose comic prowess cuts to the quick of each articulated funny bone.  Like all great comic actors, though, his style is layered with gravitas and restraint." Terry Byrne, DC Metro Theater Arts.

Jill Carucci (Director) is currently the Industry Practicum Director at CAP21. She is a resident teaching artist with McCarter Theatre Center and co-founder of Tunnel Theatre Company.
She most recently directed Alice Ripley's All Sondheim cabaret at 54 Below.
