Nov. 11th-15th, Join us as we come together again with Darren J. Doherty and the Regrarians team for 5 days of design and implementation of Regenerative Earthworks.
This hands-on workshop will include: - Building a Ridge Pond - Building a farm road as water catchment - Calculating & managing water flow across a landscape - When and how to use heavy machinery, and when not to - Soil regeneration through a combination of regenerative earthworks and Holistic Management - Designing for the specific context of the site and its Holistic Context
Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day, including ingredients from our farm (organic/pastured/soy-free eggs, organic veggies, and pastured/organic/whey-fed pork).
Participants are welcome to camp on the farm and will have access to toilets, running water, and amenities. There is an RV park down the road and hotel options within a short distance.

Darren J. Doherty is an Australia-based farm planner, trainer and farmer. Darren has completed almost 2000 farm plans in nearly 50 countries on every inhabited continent and has an alumni of well over 15,000 people worldwide. With his wife Lisa Heenan and their eldest daughter Isaebella, he leads the non-profit, Regrarians Ltd., an organisation whose chartered "primary responsibility is to the regenerative enhancement of the biosphere's ecosystem processes. Our secondary responsibility is to provide the potential for people to be informed about the regenerative economy, whether it involves their work in agriculture, land management, corporate life, domestic services, manufacturing or other activities that are within the reasonable domain of humans." Highly respected and sought after, Darren is currently completing the 'Regrarians Handbook' with Andrew Jeeves a practical manual for the regenerative development of production landscapes around the world.
