Listen to tales of some very strange characters as you explore one of Beverly's oldest houses. Explore the extraordinary Hale House and its connection to the Salem witchcraft hysteria in a guided candlelight tour.
John Hale played a prominent role in the 1692 Salem witchcraft trials, and his children were threatened with witchcraft by a family servant who was an habitual thief. Hale wrote a book that was written at Hale Farm and published posthumously, "A Modest Inquiry Into the Nature of Witchcraft."
Online sales will end at 5pm on October 23. For tickets on the event date, please contact the Society at 978-922-1186 ext. 0.
