Booksmith Presents: Bookswap with Sloane Crosley
BOOKSWAP featuring SLOANE CROSLEY Friday, November 6, 6:30PM
You might remember Sloane Crosley from her impossibly witty essays about being young and living in New York, I Was Told There'd Be Cake & Where Did You Get This Number? Now, we're welcoming Sloane to celebrate her first novel, The Clasp.
The Clasp is about friends hurtling toward their thirties, "coming of age" for the second time, and traveling the world looking for a pricesless necklace. Part homage to Guy De Maupassant, part adventure caper, and part love story, The Clasp is Crosley having a ton of fun, and it's one of the best reads of the fall. We're in love.
Join us for Bookswap with Sloane Crosley! $30 for an open bar, dinner, cheese from the California Artisan Cheese Guild, friends, swag, and more. All you have to do is bring a book that makes you laugh.
6:30PM: Reading and signing. Free and open to the public. 7:30PM: Bookswap. $30 for dinner, drinks, swag, discounts, and a party with Sloane. Includes a copy of The Clasp. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and they do sell out.
