Conference objectives
1. Discuss common areas of knowledge shared by physical therapists, occupational therapists, group exercise/ fitness trainers, and caregivers on the topic of fall prevention.
2. Identify strategies to enhance communication between stakeholders and older adults about fall risk and healthy aging.
3. Describe the components of facilitating critical family conversations.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion indicating 8 contact hours
Keynote: Facilitating Critical Family Conversations, featuring local speaker and author, Gail Goeller.
Gail Goeller, former editor of the award-winning Directory for Seniors and Their Families and author of Coming of Age with Aging Parents: The Bungles, Battles, and Blessings gained her expertise while tending to her aging family of five along with her husband, John. Most recently she cared for John, diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. With a master's degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences and a sixteen-year career in organizational development, Gail has a deep appreciation for human interactions.

Registration cancellations received 7 days prior to the event may be eligible to receive a full refund.
Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
