2015 Walk with Clausen House: 1000 Steps for Independence!

Once again we will meet for our 3rd Annual Walk with Clausen House on October 10th at 10am at the Lake Merritt Bandstand in Oakland. This year, we will be taking 1000 Steps for Independence. Since 1967, Clausen House has been creating opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gain competency, develop relationships and join the community with increasing command over their own lives. Our Annual Walk is an opportunity to unite as a strong community of advocates and supporters, community partners, family members and friends to spread the word and share the love of the Clausen House mission and invaluable footprint at a festive fundraising event. It is more than just a fun day in the sun with live entertainment from our gifted clients. It is an opportunity to take a meaningful 1000 Steps for Independence together.
