Greens Point Farm to Fork Dinner
We're so excited to have this opportunity to work with such amazing local vendors and artisans. Join us for dinner and support the Longmont community! 10% of ticket sales will be donated to Growe Foundation's Garden to Table Program.
We'll begin the evening with a tasting of 2 cheeses from Haystack Mountain. All their goat cheeses are handmade without additives using microbial (aka vegetarian) rennet and traditional cheesemaking techniques. Nothing but pure goat goodness.
The cheeses will be paired with selections from the What We Love Winery in Boulder. Michael has been making wine for over 29 years and his passion is evident in every drop. Their just-released White Sangria is not to be missed! Not a wine fan? Enjoy an Italian soda featuring our house made simple syrups.
After our tasting we'll all sit down at communal tables to enjoy an alfresco dinner. A farm dinner is all about finding creative and delicious ways to utilize what nature provides for us. For example, garlic scapes! These bright green stems and flowers have a subtle garlic flavor and we're excited to include them in a pickled form in our field greens salad.
Our bountiful buffet will feature 2 Colorado proteins and 3 hearty side dishes. While the exact menu won't be finalized until the week of the event, we do have a few tempting ideas to share, including:
bacon & oscar blues beer braised greens, butter-poached white beans fava bean + zucchini tabbouleh, Farmette herbs colorado bistro steaks, cherry demi noosa passionfruit mousse, honey glazed grilled fruits
