Dinner in the Orchard
Dirty Feet Dining, led by Sacramento chefs and local partisans Tyler Bond, Brock Macdonald, Ramon Perez and Misty Olsen Green will be joined by some of their peers to present a multiple coursed dinner featuring fruits of Twin Peaks and Orchard Delights. Courses will be paired with Lone Buffalo wines and Darjeeling Gin of Placer County. Our guests will be able to pick fruit off the trees and enjoy their dinner on the crest of the organic orchard.
Twin Peaks Orchards, established in 1912, is a family orchard located in the agriculture rich foothills of Placer County.For over 100 years our family has been growing tree ripened stone fruits, citrus and persimmons for customers and friends throughout the Placer and Sacramento County area and into the hills of Lake Tahoe and San Francisco Bay. The quality of our fruit and the relationship with our customers and community has always been our first priority. In 2009, one of the 4th generation farmer's daughter and her husband decided to add 6 acres of old favorite varieties of stone fruit to the orchard. Farmed under the name "Orchard Delights at Twin Peaks", certified organic through CCOF in 2011 and reaching its first year of full production this summer, the fruit of this orchard will be highlighted in the evenings dishes. We are so honored to be presenting the fruits of our labour with our guests.
Dirty Feet Dining chefs are inclusive of passionate craftsman committed to honoring the local agricultural community. They each contribute towards the preservation and sustainability of small family farms. The love and dedication shines throughout every dish they present.
A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to Placer Grown, a non profit organization.
