Strikin' for Strays
Broad Shoulders Animal Rescue (formerly Windy City Rescue) will be hosting a night of bowling and fun at Timber Lanes!
Through Brown Paper Tickets, $20 covers bowling for up to three hours, and includes shoes! Admission paid at door costs $25, so save a few bucks and pre-pay online!
There will also be pizza and baked goods (all vegan*) available for purchase. Timber Lanes has a full service bar, a small video arcade, a pretty rockin' jukebox and is easily accessible via public transportation (Irving Park Brown Line stop along with the Irving Park, Lincoln and/or Damen buses).
Broad Shoulders Animal Rescue (formerly Windy City Rescue) is a companion animal rescue group comprised of vegans located in the Chicagoland area. Our primary objective is rescuing and rehoming abandoned and stray companion animals. Additionally, we are part of the trap-neuter-return movement to advance a no-kill culture. We strive to be environmentally friendly and as vegan as possible, with the exception of animals that are obligate carnivores. Through a network of volunteers and advocates, we are striving to make Chicago a place where every companion animal has a loving, safe and appropriate home.
