Danielle Ate The Sandwich Uke Finger Picking Workshop
Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of the indie-folk, ukulele player and songwriter, Danielle Anderson. Her music career began modestly at open mic nights in Fort Collins, Colorado, and was unexpectedly jumpstarted by the popularity of her homemade YouTube videos, that showcase her songs and silly personality.
The true power of Danielle Ate the Sandwich, however, is her ability to sing stories both grand and small, with sweet vocals and thoughtful, honest lyrics. Danielle Ate the Sandwich has been touring nationally since 2009, cultivating a loyal and dedicated fan base, affectionately referred to as 'Fanwiches.'
Danielle will give a workshop at Catalyst Space (http://catalystspace.org) at 3PM on finger picking called "Easy Two Finger Picking Pattern" (60ish minutes).
Learn an introductory picking pattern to improve your right hand technique! We'll learn some new songs and leave you with the knowledge to spice up the songs you already know how to play with this easy finger picking pattern using your thumb and index finger! (Confident Beginner to Intermediate)
This workshop coincides with our uke club's Second Sunday jam, so please feel free to join us at 2 for a free warm up!
Danielle will also give a concert later that night (7PM) at the Black Dog Cafe in Hollidaysburg, PA. You can order combo tickets if you are interested in attending both events!
